Boys/Girls Varsity Track @ East Jordan Invitational

The track and field teams competed at the East Jordan Invitational last night. The Weather was great and the osprey was on the fly as 21 teams assembled in large and small school divisions. In the large school division, Sault Ste. Marie's boys and girls placed first. The Blazer boys tied Ogemaw Heights for third place, and the girls finished 5th.
Adam Williams, Camden Moore, Coltrane Paryani, and Gavin Guggemos won the boys 4x800 relay
Gavin Guggemos won the 1600 and the 800 with a new PR
Gabe Buyze-Prieto took 2nd in the 110 hurdles with a new PR and third in the 300 Hurdles
Kayden Dueweke-Gonzales was 2nd in the 400 with a new PR
JaeAnn Davis was 2nd in the pole vault with a season record
Adam Williams was 2nd in the 300 hurdles and set new PRs in that event and in the 1600
Camden Moore was third in the 1600 and the 3200 with a new PR
Jackson Shetler tied for third in the high jump and set a new PR in the 200
Jenna Spence was third in the discus
Anna Martin was third in the 3200 with a new season record and also set a PR in the 1600
Jackson Shetler, Adam Williams, Kayden Dueweke-Gonzales, and Cam Moore finished third in the 4x400 relay, but bumped up to second place after the first place team was disqualified for saying a no-no word at the finish line.

Jonah Weaver in the long jump
Brooke Merideth in the 200
Logan Phaneuf in the 300 hurdles
Coltrane Paryani in the 1600 and the 3200
Ephraim Conway, Issaic Fischer, and Tre' Bromley in the 800
Hunter Marvin and Vanessa Hoppe in the 400
Kara Olds in the 1600 and 3200
Alyssa Colvin in the 1600
Angela Rodriguez in the 1600 and 800 and Abby Grames in the 200 and 400
Ally Sutton jumped a season record in the high jump
The Blazers will compete again on Monday at our home invitational.
