The track and field teams competed at the Charlevoix Invitational on Friday, April 9, 2025. The Traverse City St Francis teams won the boys and girls meets, with the Kalkaska girls placing 9th and the boys 11th of 12 teams in attendance. Medals were awarded to the top three finishers in each event, and 8 places scored points.

The lone medal taken home by a Blazer went to Aaliyah Hillier, who placed third in the 3200 with a new PR of 12:44.4.

The Blazers will race again on Monday, May 12 at home in Kalkaska for the Last Chance Meet, which could be the last chance for some runners to participate in events as we near the last part of the season when the number of entries in most meets are limited to two or three, or to people who meet certain qualifying standards. Field events start at 3:30 and running events begin at 4:30 at the Thom Close Athletic Field.
